In TSM4, this is found in the "Accounting" tab. Also, as discussed in Crafting above, it's unclear how to change the formula for determining matPrice. It's just not explained well in the knowledge db. The first approach (matPrice is the price of each component, rather than a sum) makes more sense, for the reasons above. If matPrice is the sum of the components, it's also unclear where the component prices come from. As discussed above, "crafting" is derived from "matPrice." The knowledge db says that matPrice is "the sum of the material prices (matPrice) of each individual item used to craft the recipe." It's unclear from this whether matPrice is a per-component price (leaving "crafting" as the sum of all matPrice) or the sum of all of the per-component prices (at which point, "crafting" seems entirely redundant, because it's the exact same thing). I'm not entirely clear why this would be necessary, as the finished product can just pull its value from its group's operations. It sounds like the value of the finished product. Problem is, "Default Craft Value Method" doesn't sound right either. I would want to say that "Default Material Cost Method" impacts matPrice, except that it references "crafting," which is derived FROM matPrice. TSM4's "Crafting" options include two fields for the default price config: "Default Material Cost Method" (default string: min(dbmarket, crafting, vendorbuy, convert(dbmarket))) and "Default Craft Value Method" (default string: first(dbminbuyout, dbmarket)) It is unclear which of these impacts matPrice and what the other does. You can apparently control how matPrice is calculated. Crafting is apparently the sum of the material prices (matPrice, discussed below). I was hoping for clarification on these.Ĭrafting. Some of the sources in TSM 4 (these are mostly common to TSM 3) are very unclear.
